Exeter and District Basketball Association have the capability to put on Referee and Table Official courses up to an including Level II, Coaches courses up to Level III, and Safeguarding courses.
These courses will be organised subject to demand, and because we can put them on ourselves can be quite flexible.
In respect of the table official’s course, this can be arranged for specific clubs on a ‘club’ night. We are also working with Exeter College (basketball academy) to offer courses in all areas to their students to ‘enhance’ their basketball experience.
Please get in touch with us via the ‘Contact Us‘ tab to express an interest, with details of what you require.

Referee’s / Coach’s Early Season Seminar
This meeting is designed for referees and Coaches to discuss the Rules and Interpretations of Rules for the season ahead. It has previously offered interpretations of the rules that referee’s will be concentrating on during the season, coaches have also identified those fouls and areas of play that they would like concentrated on (such as ‘off the ball’ holding that prevents training court moves).
This is your opportunity as coaches to highlight areas to the officials to ensure the smooth running of the competitions this season – all coaches are welcome.
