Wow! never expected that response from everyone-thanks-was a little local league belter with North Devon from Bideford playing Torbay Tigers who travelled 70+ miles on a filthy night (weather wise!!) to play a second division game-a few spectators and two teams immaculately turned out-well nearly!-playing to a really good level in the Exeter and District League-For my my co-official Alan Jackson-it was a 150 mile round trip but we crewed up in Barnstaple for a pre game gossip and catch up! 😉 How the other half live eh? ...
