The Men’s Cup was between Spartan Nomads and last time winner’s QE Crediton Chargers who had undergone a rebuilding team exercise following the covid-enforced absence, this was going to be a tough ask for Crediton Chargers but they had reached the finals on merit.

QE had 7’4” Mike LEWIS at the forefront of their game and he would score 10 of their 1st quarter 14 points, but Nomads had several strings to their bow and all their team were providing points as they took a 21-14 lead.

In the 2nd quarter again, Mike LEWIS scored 10 of their 12 points, and for Nomads James HORRELL stepped up and was making a difference and finding his range to the tune of 15 points in a quarter won 21-12 and thus Nomads had a half time lead of 42-26.

Although Nomads couldn’t find an answer to the Mike LEWIS question (and he finished the game with 38 points out of the 46 that QE scored, Nomads were far too strong and all-rounded taking the game and the Cup 88-46 – congratulations.
