Although not a huge amount of games due to exam hall pressures, there were some important ones.

In The Ladies Division, Devon Peelers continued their 2022 form by narrowly beating league leaders Exeter Spartans putting a dent in their Championship hope (albeit as it is their first season after formation this was more about competition and stability for the team so their top of the table form is impressive).

Bridgwater Basketball had two matches this week, an impressive win over Torquay Trailblazers in Division III, and then a narrow defeat to Division II Champions-in-waiting Newton Pacers in the Inter Division match.

Tiverton Titans had two narrow defeats, one to North Devon II at home in Division III and then the second in the Inter Division to Crewkerne Thunder.

Taunton Tornados kept up the pressure on Newton Pacers by a close victory over North Devon II, whilst Spartan Nomads II also beat Newton Pacers II in a hard fought close match.

The fact that many matches were close is a testament to the quality in the game, and the good use of bench players to ensure that players get game.
